i was just wondering if software exist to overclock without bios support of it. i would like to get my ram to run 1866 or even 2133. either of these sound great any help is appreciated,

-fx-7500 (10 compute cores, 384 stream processors (6gpu), 4 cpu cores)

-6gb of ram

-750gb hard drive

-touchscreen.

You can't just overclock your ram to run at any speed you want.

really damn i thought so but i wanted to check before i gave up on the idea. jw as a side not if i bought higher clocked ram will it run at that speed sayyy 16 gb of 2133 gskill or even 1866?

There is much MUCH MUCH more to RAM than just frequency, some of the things are: CAS latency JEDEC speed & voltage.

Overclocking RAM is kind of a pain, it is also just not going to work on a laptop, especially without access to the BIOS

RAM is 284x more complex than that

When you overclock RAM you have to do somethings on the CPU side too, just please don't overclock your RAM :D
