I'm using a fractal design core 1000 and my budget is £25 but at a stretch £30

I think I'm just going to wait for the h7 to be released over here, as cryorig have all of their other coolers on amazon so hopefully it will come on soon

I would go with a Noctua cooler

The u14s is pretty much the opposite of what the OP is looking for with a height of 165mm.

Yeah the  U14s is far too tall and cryorig seem to be on the same level as noctua in terms of build quality and silence as well as performence, but their 120mm cooler will actually fit in my case  and will undoubtedly provide better cooling than noctua 92mm model

Mind you the Noctua NH-C14 looks like a bit of a beast

It wouldn't fit. The NH-u12s is 158mm tall.
