Hey guys,

I am doing a build for a friend tomorrow and he does not know if his new PSU is compatible with haswell. It is a Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 800w. According to thermaltakes' list of haswell supported PSU's (http://www.thermaltake.com/content.aspx?id=3751) it is not listed so we are a bit concerned.

Could anyone please help us determine whether it will work or we should exchange it.

Cheers

If its not on the psu compatibility list then all that means is that you will have to disable the cpu power saving states in the bios.

you can change the low power feature of haswell in the bios, which makes it so any psu will be ok with it... there's a thread in the forum about it...

Could you possibly link it if you know where, there are a lot of threads on this forum due to the awesome community!
