Hej Guys, as we saw in the last GPU Gen there was the GTX 780 Lightning and the R9 290x Lightning.

Is it possible that MSI is going to release a Gtx 980 Lightning and a R9 390x Lightning this time too?

MSI already said, that a GTX 980 Lightning is not planned, but a GTX 980 TI Lightning seems possible.

I don't know anything about the 390X yet. I think we've to wait until the 390X is released.

Since we have no idea what is in R&D we really cant answer if there will be a 390x Lightning but as stated above no 980 lighthing will come but 980 Ti might be brought out in the lightning flavor ( not confirmed or denied by anyone .)

I'm sure they will make a 390X Lightning and Big Maxwell Lightning. I've been extremely impressed in the engineering of their Lightning series cards. it's amazing how much voltage you can feed these cards, as they have power phases for days. I've take mine up to 1.5v measured by software, so probably closer to 1.55v-1.6v in actuality. They don't skip a beat.

I was actually wondering this. I hope the Lightning cards live forever. Best looking GPUs on this planet.
