Planning to Plasti Dip SSD front shield

So I'm planning to plastidip my front shield (black thing on the right side) to white but I don't want to use the adhesive. Would the heat from the SSD be able to melt the adhesive on the double sided tape?

 

 

I really don't think so, SSDs don't get very hot.
