So ive got the MSI Gtx 970 gaming card and at idle (135 mhz) its around 35 Degrees, now if I put the fans on 35-40% it sits at around 20-25 degrees. So my question is, whats best.. leave it at factory settings and let the card automatically put the fans on at higher temps, or run the fans at 35-40% so it stays around 20-25 in idle and around 35-40 when gaming lightly (csgo etc)

GPUs can with good coolers easily withstand beatings for hours of gaming with 85°C. I´d run this in idle as low as possible. 35°C in idle is fine.

Yeah, thats why im thinking "as low as possible" 20 Degrees is pretty fucking low with 40% fan speed, not sure if worth it or not though, if it wears the fans out or whatever.
