So i made a thread before, long story short, I build a 4690K PC for gaming use already, but for work I needed a new rig since I benefit from those cores, I had all the parts except the motherboard, So I ordered the board few days ago, arrived yesterday, but the CPU won't boot, I tried booting with a phenom and it worked. So that means I fucked up while fixing the bent pins. So I did research and found a 8310, which is a OEM, i'm just wondering if it's good or not, same as the regular 8350

Asus M5A99FX Pro R 2.0 I tried it again with a bios update

Well then I have no clue O.o

8310 is pretty much same as the 8370E. Compared to 8350 it's slightly worse performance but less heat output and power consumption. It's still unlocked though so you could turn it up to 8350 speeds if you'd like.

I think all iterations of FX 8 core CPU are just over or undeclocked FX 8320, with decent cooling you can easily run any FX 8 core at 4.8 GHz.

Did you read the OP? :P
