Work station

So im Building a pc for a client.

 

Its a Work station.

It only need to run basic stuff like browsing, facebook, Microsoft programs like Word/Excel, streaming videos.

Also it will be used allot to burn cds/dvds and blu ray.

It needs to be a mini Tower.

It need to be cheap.

But also needs to be able to upgrade it later on.

 

So Intel or amd based?

Also would it be best to get a grafics Card or would onboard be good enough for This?

On board graphics with something like a basic I5 should be more than enough for just watching videos and doing basic computer usage.

 

If you want an upgrade path, you'll pretty much have to go for intel, amd hasn't released anything of value for some time now on the cpu end of things.

From the Intel Core i3 4160 (4. Gen) cpu wont be good enough?

was refering to some of the like, really low end I5 things. stuff like the 650.

 

But yes, even the I3 would be perfectly fine at that task.
