HyperX Cloud / General Audio Question "Sss Sounds"

I bought these headphones because of the good reviews from most everybody who looked at them. I enjoy them a lot so far but have one minor complaint. The Ssss sounds when someone sais something like sssslumber or sssweep ssswitch or the sound of the knife being pulled out on counter-strike is almost unbearable to me. Is there anything I can do to the EQ (perhaps a visual) or something at all to lower this? When I'm having a conversation on mumble and people keep spewing out S words I feel like my ears are being stabbed. O.o

I lowered the right 3 on the EQ by 1 and it helped a decent amount. I don't think it's really an issue with the headphones themselves, partly me being oversensitive to it and maybe my onboard sound.

The last two are the ones that increase/decrease the sharpness the most, mainly depending on the number of bands in your EQ, but it's safe to assume it's the last two. Just find a decent curve and you should be good.

The Clouds are naturally sharp-ish out of the box, to my ears anyways. I have mine configured differently so it's not overwhelming and tiring.

Yeah, glad I'm not the only one. Certain sounds were killing me, especially people with terrible microphones.
