Right lads. I'll keep this one simple. (Had typed a massive article earlier, but the site had a glitch and i lost it.)

I've got 3 upgrade paths I see from my current point. I'd like some POSITIVE feedback on this and suggestions. Right now, I've got an ASROck 990FX Extreme3 board, an FX 8150 and a 550ti. The CPU has it's own dedicated watercooling loop and the loop has big room for expansion.

So Path One for me is to buy blocks for the VRM's and Northbridge on my current board and put it in my W/C loop. Purley for silence (NB has annoyng fan) and overlocking headroom (On the VRM's)

Path Two for me is to either get a ROG Crosshair V Formula Z board OR get a  Gigabyte UD3 and a Corsair CX 600 and custom sleeve all the cables. For asthetics in the build - Black and red interior scheme.

Option 3 is to get a 2GB 7850 (and a nother one down the line) - no, i'm not getting an nVidia card. I have a tight space limit here and these 7850's are perfect.

So yeah, I'd love some feedback. I'll post a picture of my rig in it's current state shortly.

Thanks in advance - Adam :)

Option 3. The other 2 options give little to no performance gain.

No i completely disagree. Option one you have better cooling performance for ur VRMs.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

Better cooling only benefits overclocks which isn't that significant considering the cpu/gpu.

The benefit would be very little compared to upgrading to a 7850.
