Hi! First of all, I'm sorry if this in the wrong section, I'm a bit of a newb to the forums :P

Anyways, I have a several questions that I can never find answers to that I can actually comprehend. I need you guys to please give me feedback in your words; not just copying and pasting other sources. I need another person to be able to explain these answers so I can finally understand wtf all of these mean/do.

The list of questions:

What's L2 cache? L3? What do they do?

What's VCore? What's Voltage? How does it work?

Why can an OC become unstable?

If I OC a 4.0//4.4 Turbo to 4.4, will the Turbo be like 4.8 or something?

How do you find a stable OC? What are the factors to a stable OC?

Please take the time to write as much as you want about these. Thank you!

Pretty straightforward explanation of cache: (Basically lower levels of cache are slower and that matters because things are stored in cache)

Vcore is short for core voltage. Core voltage is the voltage supplied to the cpu. Voltage is electric potential energy. How does 'what' work? Voltage is a measure of electric potential energy. If you mean 'how does electromagnetism work', then this might help:

An OC may be unstable because it's a setting not guaranteed to work. It's like why a rubber ball won't necessarily bounce higher than what it's advertised to.

Oc'ing generally doesn't touch the turbo setting.

There are plenty of oc'ing guides and they vary a bit depending on what you're oc'ing. Factors may also vary but how you tell an oc is 'probably' stable is "I've let the system run a bunch of calculations for a while. It seems stable so it probably is."
