The shoe is a /r/mechanicalkeyboards thing. (don't ask because I don't know either)

Did you primed it before painting? Are those leds still visible?

The paint I used was primer and paint in one, so I did not prime it beforehand.

 

You can't see the leds sadly, I might try to remove the paint from the see-through plastic.

I don't recommend following what I did because I was a stupid jackass that had no patience.

 

I cleaned it with Isopropyl alcohol and then I painted it, outside, in 2 degree weather even though the paint recommendation was at least 20 degrees (Celsius of course) the paint ran and it looked shitty.

 

I stalled a couple of weeks and here 2 days ago I sanded it down and painted it again. it was good but the neighbor cat's fur got into the paint while it was still wet.

 

then yesterday I sanded the parts down where there was cat hair and stupidly did not clean it after. the paint looks great now but the texture is crappy.

 

 

What you should do is sand it down and clean it VERY GOOD and then apply coats with one hour inbetween.

Turned out great, I recommend finishing it with a clear coat of your choice, so it won't chip!

 

If this is your first time then bud, you did good.
