Check the power supply watts calculator

http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

Why?  Check load power consumption for the particular GPU you pick, that is much better...R9 270 = max 250w.  I like an extra cushion for the system, 150w (really don't need that much).

500w, 80% effiency...400w... Perfect!  =)

I'm not gonna upgrade, I will use it for about 3years becouse I'm going to school, and when I will be a student I will leave my place.

i3 will be faster than the FX-6300.  Don't think of that AMD CPU as a 6-core... it is like having 3 cores, with 2 weaker cores inside each core.

Most games prefer single core performance, not how many cores they are.

If you mostly do multitasking and game occaisionally, then go with your current one.

If you play games quite a bit then go for i3 as games prefer Intels single core performance.

Then don't think of an i3 as a quad core ;)

I don't.  I think of the i3 as a capable dual core, with a little extra performance in parallel processes.

Good boy ;)

What is the performance difference? And new realeased games will not take benefite of more cores?

No. My i5 destroys the AMDs closest equivalent which has 8 cores (albeit 4 are hyperthreaded but still)

Most game devs focus on single core performance instead of how many cores.

Much better performance to be had.

Possibly, but not slow cores. i3 will be best for you, as it has very strong single core performance and more games are Intel optimized than AMD optimised. Also, some games like hyper threading now which the i3 has.

No there is no unlocked i3.

There is a Pentium unlocked which is an overclockable i3 without hyper threading but most games need a quad core nowadays so I don't recommend it.
