CPU temp question

I got a i5-4690k 3.5Ghz it's usually 28-30c and while doing a bench mark test it got it to 3.9 ghz with 55c max is this good or bad? Or what it suspose to be at idle ,gaming n more please help me ty

That is okay have you overvolted it? What cooler do you use?

Overvolted yea thats fine i would dial up volts and clocks 1.34 is a good voltage to max at

depends on the chip you can get from 4.1-4.8

its ok will probably put the voltage to high i would start put 4.2 ghz in at 1.3 volts and up it until unstable then go to 1.32 and work up dont go above 1.37 for day to day

temps i would max at 83 under load of benchmark

Where do I check how many volts my CPU is getting ?

I used over clock that's built into the gaming 5 motherboard I bench marked it and it says 4-4.1gz with max temp of 62c and 1.185v

wow you get a low voltage chip. it took me 1.56V to hit 5.1GHz. 

 

what is your cinebench score at 5.123? heres mine @ 5.1...nice clocking.

water cooled. put radiators outside at -15c.

that seems about right

 

not many people can bench at 5.0 or higher on haswell so post your 5.123ghz scores.

 

 

4690k is gonna hit 4.5-4.8 at 1.3-1.35V on 90% of chips. the other 10% will it 4.9 or higher.

your temps and voltages are very acceptable.

 

if that OC works for you my suggestion is to go get your game on
