Yep, found myself lowering some old hardware prices because when re-selling it costs a little more if it has the whole bundle.

In the past few years the only thing i've thrown away was the box of my tv/monitor but because i have no place to save such a big box.

Rig: I5-3570K@4.3Ghz - Cooler Thermaltake Frio Advanced - Ram Kingston 1333Mhz 8gb (2x4) - GPU GTX 970 4GD5T OC - Motherboard Z77MA-G45 - PSU CoolerMaster GX II 750w - Storage WD 500gb HDD - Sound Edifier M3700 5.1 - Headset Corsair Vengeance 1500 - Mouse Razer Deathadder 2013 - Keyboard Razer Anansi - Mousepad Steelseries QcK+ - Xbox 360 Wireless Controller x2

GPU, CPU, MOBO, PSU, and Case are the only ones I've kept, I find that the case box with its large size is a good storage place for the other components boxes, though personally I just keep the other component boxes in a file cabinet drawer :P

Also kept my RAM package and am using that as a CPU holder, the width of the slots for the RAM DIMMs was perfect for about half the older CPUs I've got from PCs I've ripped apart.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

I keep the boxes for my case and monitors. Makes moving a lot easier when you have boxes made for the exact size of things :)

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

Mobo box: yes, I put all of the spare parts in it like removed rear slot covers, plastic socket cover, screws, windows license information, extra thermal paste, etc.

Everything else: no, once I have everything set up and known working with no issues. I do like to just flatten and save the CPU box though.

lol i keep mostly motherboard boxes and reuse them to hold old parts and cables and stuff i have accumulated over the years that is for computers... heck i have 20 or so boxes with random stuff for computers and even full computers worth of parts laying around in them like cpus and a dozen gpus that i dont have a use for yet.

I do keep them.I have a storage room full of them. If I might ever sell my parts I like to box them back up and give that person everything I got.,

Put all of mine in my case box and stored it in the garage. Also put the antistatic bags, connector covers, and a copy of my receipt in there for future reference. If I ever go to sell anything it makes for a nicer experience for the new owner to get the product in the original box I think.

Yes, I keep all my boxes most especially if there is a need to ship it to some place or if ever I am going to have my parts for RMA. Not really for display on anything, in fact I put all my parts boxes inside the box for my case.

And in some cases as well that there is a need for me to sell the parts I currently have, the resell value gets affected if the box/original package is not intact anymore.
