i had MAJOR i mean unplayable problems with my i3 2120 not sure how much has improved with the 4000 gen i3s.

A lot. The speeds are higher, the die is lot smaller. The performance is better.

The only good thing I've heard about Sandy bridge CPUs was almigthy i5-2500k which put a mark in OC history :D
