DMX Lighting Tutorial

So I want to self teach myself DMX Lighting for like a auditorium. I know sound and video but I dont know Lighting, please help thanks.

Every board is different and they range from a few hundred bucks to several thousand.

First find out which board you will be using, then read the ENTIRE manual, and look at youtube tutorials on it if there are any.
