(streaming/editing/gaming pc)
I only care about silence (fractal R5 case maybe?) and somewhat color matching inside but a rig will buy part by part (3-5 months in between at least so add the possibility of ti for a 980(In example)

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

- WCCFTECH

I was only 9 years old. I loved Fifflaren so much, I had all the NiP merchandise and matches pirated. I prayed to Fifflaren every night before bed. Thanking him for the life I have been given. Fifflaren is love I say. Fifflaren is life. My dad hears and calls me a fuckhead. I knew he was just jelly of my passion for Fifflaren. I called him a Sw@yer. He hits me and sends me to go to sleep. I'm crying now, and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it's really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel someone touching me. I feel someone touching me. It's Fifflaren. I am so happy. He whispers in my ear; "this is my pyjama". He grabs me with his powerful Swedish hands and puts me on my hands and knees. I'm ready. I spread my ass cheeks for Fifflaren. He penetrates my butt-hole. It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

This rounds out the cpu options. Xenon will provide decent gaming and general performance, with superior content creation performance. While the stock cooler will do a good job, I've added a quieter after market model.

Cannot really overclock Xenon, they are locked cpu. Besides, the H97 chipset is not designed for it.

You "can't". It's actually doable, yet difficult and not very recommended.

Stick with the i7-4790k. It'll do as good (and even better) than xeon, while allowing for easy OCing.

Intel Core i7-4790K (OEM/Tray) and Intel Core i7-4790K are faster and less expensive. They are better choices.

Buying two 2x4GB memory kits is sub-optimal. You run the risk of memory not easily running at the advertised speed and timings. Also, since they are identical modules should you mix up the pairs there is a small risk that you will not even be able to get dual channel memory operation.

For 16GB, a 2x8GB kit is better. It puts a touch less strain on the memory controller and leaves room for a memory upgrade without having to replace modules.

I would suggest Kingston Fury Black Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory, good quality memory and much less expensive. But if you really want to spend money, Corsair Dominator 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory would work.

Use the money save by getting the Fury Black memory to get a better psu. Since a the motherboard does not support SLI, a 750W psu is not really needed. You can go with a unit like SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze, SeaSonic SSR-650RM, or SeaSonic SS-660XP2. If you really want 750W, consider EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR. All better psu than the CX-750. All modular.
