If they were halfway intelligent they would have tried passing g3258's off as 4790ks

Having not use any new amd cpus, I thought the first one was the genuine one since AM2, AM2+, and AM3 all used the same socket.

 

It is, technically.  It's just an old CPU that likely doesn't work and someone wanted to make some money off it.

And the A8 7600 APU is on a totally different FM2 socket.
