Saving for 7months and buying the parts all at once or getting them as you get the money for each one. I kind of started doing the second one but im not sure, because if i buy a defective part and it sits in my house for a long time I might not be able to return it because the 30 days will have passed by. What do you guys think? and will warranty cover defective parts that came defective?

Definitely getting them all at once. Unless you have spare parts laying around that are compatible, there is no way to tell if the part you bought by itself is working or not. Most warranties for computer parts run anywhere from 1-7 years on average. It's a pain to get a RMA though, it could take weeks. I had a problem with a SSD I bought 2 years ago, and it took about 2-3 weeks to get a refurb one.
