Can someone let me know if a Cryorig H7 would fit on a LGA 775 socket. Cryorig claims that it only supports LGA 115X, but HiTechLegion says it supports all intel sockets. And also on the mounting bracket there is two extra slots for what could be 775 and 2011.

Thanks!

I'm not sure. You might want to contact Cryorig for a quote.

Thanks!

Yes and no.  We left mounting holes on the backplate of the X-Bar system for 1366 and 75, but that was for giving the backplate more versatility in the future.  The H7 itself is not 775 or 1366 compatible right out of the box.  This was a trade off we had to accept to get AMD and 115x mounting on the X-Bar.

However, with that said the H7 is compatible with the MultiSeg mounting kit from the R1 Series, which supports pretty much every platform since the 775.  We are still debating on wither or not to sell the MultiSeg as a separate kit, but chances are the price of the H7+ MultiSeg Mounting will cost you more than the H5 which already has 775 support.  So if you do insist on going with the H7+ MultiSeg you can private message me or write to support@cryorig.com.  There they will resolve your issue.  But unless you have some space limitation issue, I would suggest you to get the H5 which is only around 10USD more expensive than the H7, and it'll give you more mileage performance wise for the money.

Hm.... if you want I can hook you up with a multiSeg kit for the H7.  But they'll charge the cost of materials.

Don't bother with their twitter or facebook they don't reply to anyone. Try to find a customer support email.

Our Facebook and Twitter accounts exist for different reasons.  Of course it's always best to write in to support@cryorig.com first if you need product support.  The support team naturally will handle support issues more efficiently.

Thanks for the reminder, I think I'll ask for one!

Also, you can try the R1 if you're into that type of extreme cooling stuff!

I have a R1 Universal myself! Its amazing. Dead quiet, killer looks, and jaw dropping performance. As for the multiseg for the H7, I'll get back to you on that but this has def been a +1 for Cryorig for me! :D
