im looking on getting an 250GB SSD, whats a reliable brand that wont fail me

Kingston just stay away from V300 SSD NOW, all Kingston SSD I recommend like the 3K one.

What's the system being used for?

I live in the philippines so my budget in US dollars is in the max $150 range and its just for my personal computer where i manly use for browsing the web, gaming (Dota 2, and FPS games) and a little bit of video editing from time to time.

No, I use a similar mx100 which is worse than the M550. Sure, it's reliable.
