Best New game

I wanted to get a new game and start fresh since I've only been playing bf4 because its so addicting and I realized, why not get a new game instead huh? Well now I am deciding what game to get from the latest ones. So I wanted to get some suggestions on either GTA V (pre-ordering it), Far Cry 4, Dying Light, Battlefield hard-line or Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Why only the mainstream "cough" AAA "cough" games?

 

Id suggest you try insurgency if you want a shooter.

Insurgency is great if you are not bad.

 

 

Even if you are bad...you can still press C and shoot RPG at enemies; then spawnkill with molotovs.

Impossible question because for a start anything is new if you haven't played it. Given the last year was pretty average for games in general there are a lot of "older" games I'd recommend over something that's "new". Also games are very, very subjective so what I thought is worthwhile you might not. Thus arguments in this thread already and so on.

 

All I can say is that right now I'm playing Deus Ex HR because I got it a couple of months ago and it's the "next best" game in my backlog. And if you look on Steam ATM they have Tomb Raider and Deus Ex HR for pennies both of which I reckon are fairly safe bets. Though if you're into CoD/Battlefield? Maybe just give the new versions of those a spin. Advance Warfare did look alright and I watched someone stream the Battlefield Hardline beta a few days ago and that looked pretty decent.

 

........... though if I was to honestly answer with what "new game" you should get? I'd say Shovel Knight. Because if you were to ask me what my favourite game of 2014 was I'd probably answer with that. But I'm sure it's not your thing if you're into CoD and Battlefield

I'm really enjoying far cry 4. Multiplayers like battlefield can't hold my interest for long

I'd suggest Unreal Tournament alpha which you can download if you register on their forums. It's in a good shape already.

@OP AW doesn't have a big player base on PC, personally I'd go for GTA V and/or Far Cry 4.

wolfenstein the new order is a great game. i put about 15hrs of game play into it before completing the game and then played through it again
it's a great fps with a great story too 

or wait got gta 5 (due march 2015)

Wolfenstein: The New Order is something you should consider for a shooter. EDIT: Damn, I got Ninja'd.

 

If your a big fan of stealth games Thief is currently 75% off on Steam and worth a try.

For FPS games, Wolfenstein The New Order is probably the best of the recent ones. Good level design, fun weapons, good old Nazi murdering without the slightest sign of guilt, tesla guns, stabbing nazis in the dick, whatever you'd want in every game.
