Items on eBay

Hello, I've made a mistake and need to fix it. I, in a heap of confusion, ended up buying two MSI Z97S Krait motherboards. I am really tight on cash, and returning the motherboard will cost over $30 for shipping and restocking to RMA the second. The problem is, I need that money to buy a PSU, and a valentines gift. So should I sell it new on eBay, I haven't even opened the box for the extra. If I sell it on eBay I only have to pay for shipping, and could save a whole lot of money. Do you think it's worth it?

I think it's worth selling on ebay, especially since you haven't opened it :)

selling on eBay also has a handling charge after the sale. a percentage of the

sale depending on final price.

another is that your pricing will only dictate how fast it will sell. trying to break

even on this whole situation will not happen and at best you might get half your

money back due to fees (Paypal and ebay) plus the shipping. priced to high to

recover the most might make you sit on the item and sense it is a time sensitive

matter, how much can you lose vs time?

another thing to consider is that the one you sell might have an issue and then

you get to play the "who broke it" game. and Paypal usually sides with the buyer,

so you don't want to spend the money before the buyer "tests it" for validation.

sell it locally, would be the best scenario.
