no, only if you increase the voltage. Only turning the mhz will not hurt it. 

 

Your PSU has a over something protection. If 500+ Watts are reached it will turn off. Don't worry, it is unlikely that you will reach 500 watts.

hello guys one more question sorry :)

 

Specs:

MB msi h81m-p33 v2

RAM 4 GB

PSU Cooler Master B sereis 500W

CPU I3 4130

GPU MSI R9 280x

 

 

So if i OC my GPU too high, will it break it. cause my PSU is 500W and if GPU runs out of Power what will happen?
