Coolermaster Hyper 212 Compatibility

The CPU cutout only matters for installing a cooler while the motherboard is still mounted in the case. You should be fine as long as your case has the room to fit the actual cooling part inside without hitting the side panel.

Hey guys,
I was wondering if I could mount a CM Hyper 212 Evo in a case without a CPU cutout.
Is the clearance between the motherboard standoffs sufficient or should I choose a different case?
Thanks

The clearance isn't problem. Evo backplate is about 1/3 of standoff length (Or less).
