so my friend claims shes having issues with her audio on her computer she does not have a sound card and the headphones dont seem to be the problem because she just upgraded to a hyper x cloud gaming headset and still had the same issue she says shes hearing a popping sound and that when she restarts her computer it fixes the problem.

Also tell her to try this

step1.png Right click the speaker icon in the system tray and choose Playback devices from the context menu.

step2-269x300.pngHighlight your default audio device (green check) and choose Properties.

windows_sound_fix-258x300.pngChoose the Enhancements tab and make sure EVERYTHING on this page is unchecked, and then CHECK the option to disable all effects.
