back fan issues

So my back doesnt work when i plug it into the fan slot, i tried pushing it to see if it just needed a little push, didnt work. Then i pligged it into another fan slot on my mobo and i pushed it and it worked. I did plug one of my front fans into the back fans slot and it worked just fine. So from what ive said, is it just my fan? Or something with my mobo's fan slot. I am getting a new fan for the back fan but i just want to know if theres any real big issue.

Well its hard to say. Since both header and fan work with another header and fan. Could you just run it the way they all do work? If problem is cables reaching, you can get extensions for it. Or splitter if its controller issue.
