Hey guys so my current PC is as follows:

CPU: Intel i5 3570K @ 4.2Ghz 1.19v Stock Cooling

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz 2x4GB

Mobo: Asus p8z77-M

PSU: Corsair CX600M

GPU: EVGA GTX 660

Case: Fractal Design Define R4

HDD: WD Black 1TB

I want to add new components to my PC, the final thing is a GTX 980 but that will come later rather than at first. The new build is as follows:

CPU: Intel i7 4790K

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 1866Mhz 2x8GB

Mobo: Asus Sabertooth Mark 1 Z97

PSU: Corsair CX600M

GPU: GTX 660 (to be replaced with a 980 later)

Case: Fractal Design Define R4

HDD: 2x WD Black

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

The only thing that remains is a CPU cooler. I want to go with an AIO but I'm not sure which to get, the H80 fits but it's obnoxiously large with the 2 fans. I'm wondering if I can mount it with just one instead?

Any other suggestions would be great.

Budget is not really a thing I guess like $1000 maybe USD.

Uses: Content creation Video rendering, game design, and playing games maxed out at 1080p (zero interest in the 970).

I would keep the 3570k unless you would upgrade to a six core and ddr4 otherwise the update would feel very marginal and pointless. I would also get the GTX980 now instead of later, but the drives look good if you're happy with your WD Black, but you can get cheaper drives and the 850 EVO is great as well

Get rid of the WD drives and go with 2 Seagate Barracudas.

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

The 3570K causes a lot of issues with content creation, especially not being hyper-threaded. It takes a magnitude much higher amount of time to render and can crash a lot with low demands.

Your build looks fine, you could consider the h100i, or some of coolermaster's AIO's, and many many more AIO's.

I Suggest getting a 2x120mm rad or bigger.

I was thinking about that since the Define R4 has about an inch of space at the top making mounting an H100i not too difficult.

Nah ;)

You should. That extra heat and price isn't worth just a little bit more speed. Besides, Barracudas are waaaaay cheaper.

They are mainly for mass storage and I've never really been bothered by the wait times and there doesn't really seem to be a heat issue with it as it stands.
