Asus Deluxe discussion

Hello everyone, so 2 years now since i purchased a Z87 Deluxe, and i have yet to use the Wifi-GO or the Wireless adapter at all -.-. Exactly why are asus deluxe editions so expensive for the exclusivenesses? I look at them, look at the other sections and see a mere difference between each. What will exactly change or stay the same for skylake Z-117 mobos, for as far as ive seen not exactly a huge array of benefits come from deluxe series so that people will actually pay for them. Thunderbolt 3.0 perhaps? Btw i dont really care about it and truthly most people dont either, but why was the Asus Probe Sense II never fixed to work properly on windows 8.1? Well thats it for as far as questions, share if you want too your opinions over these special editions and if any benefits over other lower tiers or manufacturers. Thanks.

Going over 150$ for a motherboard rarely pays off. This goes for every brand, the extra features simply don't really benefit anyone.

Give me a board with a simple BIOS, no bullshit SATA conteollers, purely Intel, Intel server 2012 QVL'd NIC and I'll be happy. Hence why I was excited at Supermicros Z87 or Z97 board: simple and well built.

I used to always buy the Asus deluxe boards. but I slowly over many years realised I never used any of the features that made them deluxe!

now all I ask of a mobo is that it works, has a nice ui in the bios and has all the bells and whistles I need to overclock.

anything more I don't need. dual bios would be nice, as would bare bones buttons and led readout buuuut I'm not fussy.
