PS4 from the US

The PS4 is 400 in the us, but is 550 in australia, is there any harm in getting it from amazon, paying a bit extra through shipping and disparity in the dollar and getting away with it for less than 500?

According to a few Australian friends, Amazon US will let you buy from them, and ship it to Australia for not a hefty price. Apparently, import fees aren't a problem either, for items under $1000.

 

Would be cheaper than buying local.

You can email Amazon and verify that too. Or go through the pre-order and see what happens. If there's an import deposit and it isn't used, it'll get refunded to you.

The PlayStation 4 is $649.00 and the XBOX ONE is $749.00 here in New Zealand !

 

I don't see what you're complaining about lol, Australia got it way cheaper than New Zealand mate.
