I create original art using Excel exclusively.  Problem is that I have pieces that are getting so detailed that Excel (MS 13) constantly chokes.  For example, I have a piece of art depicting a desert scene, mountains, adobe house, landscaping.  I almost never got it finished because Excel kept choking.  There are about 3,000 Excel shapes involved in the piece.

I am running an HP laptop, Pen i3, 2.25 mgh., L1 cache, 4 g ram, 400 gig hd with onboard Intel Graphics 4600.  I think I need a better performing computer, but I don't know what.  Also, how would I find out if my Excel software will work more efficiently with an upgraded computer.  Have gotten no answer from Microsoft.  My adobe art is attached.

Thanks, MM
