Anyway, for only 20$ more, you could get something that could even reuse! Just slap in a gtx 970, another 4gb RAM stick, better storage, and you've got yourself a very nice pc!

That's because of those stupid rebates, it always includes those. And yeah, the i3 is also a good option, but if his goal is to build a high end system once his parents let him, I'd say its unlikely he'll be upgrading this one. So its probably best to go as cheap as possible. Besides, the 860k is very similar in performance to the 4130, a bit faster in multi threaded tasks actually.

once  I got experience I will try building and selling custom pc rigs to people they will be made by me and they will be cheaper than alienware

Just make sure you actually find people that will buy such systems. That can be a lot harder than you'd think.
