Headphones broken..?

My headphones will not produce sound whatsoever. I tried plugging them into different audio jacks (Extenders, etc) and still it is the same thing. I can hear things but I need to turn my volume up 100% on skype, and my system and then when I hear things normally, its for 2 seconds. I am assuming that it is my cable in which case I would not be able to find any replacements because of the way Razer made the cable and headset. I would like to have a replacement cable or some kind of help.

Razer Electras and they are about 1 and a half years old

Is there stress on the cabe? I.e. a sharp bend after the audio jack?
