Issues with my Rigs Cooling

Hi guys,

ran into some issues while trying to silence my machine.

My specs:

FX-6300 (4,3 Ghz, 32° idle, 68° Full load)

8G Hyperx Blu 1600

MSI N560GTX Ti Twin Frozr II (950/2100/2300/1,025)

ASUS M5A97 LE R 2.0

4x BeQuiet SilentWings 120mm

Arctic Freezer 13 Limited Edition

LC PSU 530W Gold

For the love of god, i cannot make these fans run silent. left and top 3 are attached to the CHA1-3 fan headers, CPU is attached to the CPU header. no matter what i do, asus suite or bios or speedfan, the chassis fans do not shut up and wont run below 1300 rpm. they simply ignore everything i do. only thing speedfan does is capping them at 60% making my cpu nearly pay the iron price while running a benchmark.

I attached a pic of the setup. left fan pushes air in, cpu blows to the top side and top 2 pull out. in front of the hdd cage pushes in, psu is pulling from below and venting out the back. Case is a Zalman Z3.

If they are PWM fans, you may need to change controlling from BIOS to PWM mode. Its usually voltage controlled by default for chassis fan headers. If they are 3pins, you can't get them lower than 50% via software. With hw controller getting lower than that may be possible.

you could undervolt them using adapters like this

Desktop:     Core i7-9700K @ 5.1GHz all-core = ASRock Z390 Taichi Ultimate = 16GB HyperX Predator DDR4 @ 3600MHz = Asus ROG Strix 3060ti (non LHR) = Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 SSD = ASUS PG279Q

Notebook:  Clevo P651RG-G = Core i7 6820HK = 16GB HyperX Impact DDR4 2133MHz = GTX 980M = 1080p IPS G-Sync = Samsung SM951 256GB M.2 SSD + Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD
