Hello,

Greetings,

I am planning a build and I want to get the 280x as my gpu,but I have a 270x that I don't want to go wasted so I was thinking maybe I could crossfire them.All crossfire needs is the same architecture right?And please don't tell me all of the "get a better gpu,crossfire sucks!" or "your PC will overheat!" shit.There is a reason I chose my gpu that's all you need to know.And as far as cooling goes,my build will have a custom loop with 2x 360mm radiators,tell me that's not enough.

Just sell your 270x and get another 280x.

 

/270x isn't compatible with a 280x.

7950 crosfires with 7950 or 7970.

 

280 crossfires with 280 or 280x and 7970 and 7970 GHZ

 

270 crossfires with 270 and 270x.

280x crossfires with 7970/7970Ghz also...
