first advice: ignore newegg reviews and other user reviews...people that put out those reviews are the ones having problems or issues...when everything works just fine you don't log in to post : ''mine is doing just fine'' so yeah, just ignore those.

i can recommend a few very good motherboard i figure you need SLI support so here are some of the best deals in black/blue Z97 boards that support SLI:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97g55sli

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97ssliplus

...and this one, but this one IS know to have had MANY issues in the past, i'd avoid:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z97extreme3

my vote goes to the Z97-G55 SLI.

| CPU: Core i7-8700K @ 4.89ghz - 1.21v  Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING  CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 |
| GPU: MSI RTX 3080Ti Ventus 3X OC  RAM: 32GB T-Force Delta RGB 3066mhz |
| Displays: Acer Predator XB270HU 1440p Gsync 144hz IPS Gaming monitor | Oculus Quest 2 VR

you can also look at the asrock exteme 3...it's the best looking one i give it that (black PCB) but as i said it had issues in the past but maybe theres a new revision or somehting and it might be fixed...it's at good price right now but i like MSI for good customer services (at least in north america they have been flawless)

extreme 6 is serious bang for buck with 12 power phases probably overclocks the best, supports quad crossfire. i would have bought that but newegg was sold out.

z97-a is a solid board too,but extreme 6 is better overclocker.

cpu:i7-4770k    gpu: msi reference r9 290x  liquid cooled with h55 and hg10 a1     motherboard:z97x gaming 5   ram:gskill sniper 8 gb

that's a great board but it cost 50% more...it is better quality that's for sure, but IMHO not worth the extra $...theres nothing this board can do that other cheaper solutions can't achieve.
