Did you test the E10 with another pair of headphones? I doubt it is the E10 honestly.

Yes, I get the same crackling in everything I've tried. The PC151's also work fine with the onboard audio.

 

Did you try another usb port or another computer with the E10?

try this ^^^^

 

I get crackling if I plug my external DAC into a usb hub or the usb channel has too many other devices connected.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
