Notebook upgrade

My mom has the slow netbook at 1ghz and 2 gbs of ram

Is it worth putting a 50-60gb ssd? It's and and c 60 apu

Most likely its going to make a very large difference of the general speed of the note book with booting and application opening but the CPU is still going to be a bottleneck when it comes to 3d applications and even with online video it may still chug but for email and word use a ssd will improve the speed of the applications. I put a SSD in a notebook with a similar HDD that is found in net books and it made a huge difference.

1080p 60 fps video on YouTube doesn't lag

My mom and sister use chrome YouTube . And word that's it

its mainly going to improve boot times. You'll have to decide for yourself if its worth the money.
