  • 4670k
  • msi g45 mobo
  • msi gtx 770
  • 1 7200rpm hdd (500gb)
  • nzxt phantom 410 mid tower
  • hyper 212 evo cpu cooler
  • 16gb kingston  hyper x 

 

plz tell me the min wattage required to run all these components optimally

 

ps; im considering to buy corsair gs 700 (is it good for haswell and would it run all components properly)

Dude, that could power 2x 780:s.

Think 770 = 175w

4670k = 95w

Rest of parts = max 70 w

So that is 340w

And when overlock that is = max 400w

The minimum wattage requirement for this system would be around 450W but... BUT, this will not allow for any upgrades and very little overclocking capabilities.

 

At least 600W would be optimal for efficiency and will still allow for another graphics card. 700W will be alright but it will have a lower total efficiency of the PSU.

get a good 500W/600W psu instead of the 700ish one.. maybe think about a platinum certificated one

Get a 600 watt so that it could tide you over for multiple builds, but 520 watts is more than enough.
