Sorry, I know this is a stupid question, but I just want to verify with other people. As of now, I have a ATI 3600 in my computer, but in about an hour, my new r9 270 should be here. The thing is, the 3600 doesn't need to be hooked up to a pci-e from the power supply. What this makes me think is that my motherboard actually doesn't have a pci-e slot. The thing is, I found a 6 Pin connector that isn't plugged in to anything, but is labled "P12". Is this plug the pci-e power supply?

The HD3600 is PCI-E. The only that is not there (I assume) is a dedicated PCI-E rail on your PSU. However, other plugs should do just fine.
