Hi guys,

I recently bought a very csheap mouse pad for 1USD.....

Surpisingly my mouse doesnt work on it very well. So I would like to ask for recommendations:

A budget (maximum 20usd) mousepad that would work well with my R.A.T.7.

The target price is 15usd becausause i don't see why i would spend more money on a piece of cloth but as long as it is below 20 it fine.

It would be good if it doesnt have shiny bling-bling picutres or artwork on it but that is the last aspect.

In shape, I am looking for something wide, like 400X300(mm)

QcK is the general go-to mousepad. It does have more friction than some other cloth mousepads like for example the Goliathus(but the new Goliathus has a huge bling bling logo all over it)

Specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350  Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA UD3  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB  HDD: WD Green 2TB SSD:  Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD RAM: Corsair 8GB(2X4) PSU: CoolerMaster G650M

I must agree with them, Steelseries QCK.

Steelseries QcK is affordable and good.

Yeah, the steelseries is looking good, but do you have any personal experience with it, because steelseries' clamis are high, are they true?

I have a QcK, using it right now and had it for quite some time. It's a nice basic mousepad very good for the price. Not much to it really. As I said the QcK pads have more friction than most of the other cloth mousepads from my experience, which is a subjective thing whether you like it or not. The pad itself is pretty durable, mine might be fraying on the bottom a WEE BIT but its not even noticeable.

Yes I have one.

The rough texture provides ample grip and control so if you were looking for something that helps your mouse slide around easily, the QcK isn't for you.

Only bad thing I've heard about them is that the texture can be hard on mouse feet, I personally haven't experienced this effect on the feet of my mice.

The only real con is that the mousepad is a bit of a dust and hair magnet, but it's relatively easy to clean.

I recently bought a Qck Mini as a short-term replacement until I can find something better (and safe up some money). I'm coming from a hard surface eXactMat (wouldn't recommend it, the sharp alu-edge gives you a nice callus on the wrist and the control surface just wears off the mousefeet too much). The Razer Goliathus didn't play well with the sensor of my Roccat Kone (my G502 has no problems with it whatsoever) but it gets dirty really fast (the "pores" on it collect dirt and dust like a vaccuum cleaner) and cleaning it is annoying (brush + water).

The Qck Mini seems better than both of the Razer ones mentioned above but at the same time it grips the mouse more (the speed surface and the Goliathus have less resistance). For only ~7€ (and even the regular-sized Qck for ~12€) it's a good deal and even if I get another mousepad it seems like a nice pad to have as a spare.
