I am planning on getting the thermalright true spirit 140 power cooler. any ideas if it will fit in the haf x? 

My build --- Intel i7 4790K @ 4.5 GHz --- ASUS STRIX GTX 980 4 GB --- ASUS Maximus VII ROG Ranger --- 32 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133 MHz (4x4) --- CS750M 80+ GOLD --- 2 TB WD Black HDD --- Intel 730 240 GB SSD --- Seagate 1TB SSHD --- Cooler Master HAF X --- Thermal Right True Spirit 120 --- Windows 10

 

Peripherals --- Corsair K70 Cherry mx blue --- Corsair Sabre RGB --- Corsair MM200 Mouse mat --- Hyper X Cloud II --- LG 29UB65 29" --- LG 24M47VQ 24"

Do you think I should replace the stock fan with the thermal right?

I have 4 sticks of corsair vengeance pro as well. Im sure they will be ok with cooler?

also is the cpu cooler compatible with 1150 socket?

the socket for 1150 1155 and 1156 are the same diameter

 

so it should fit

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
