Which manufacturer's smartphone have the least amount of bloatware installed, other than Google's Nexus with vanilla Android?

I planned to get the HTC One but my friend advised me against it because of immense bloatware.

Well the HTC One will come in a "nexus" format. But just root it bro, i did it to my SGS3 and it's still working perfectly until this day. I was so scared the first few days that my phone was gonna brick tho :o

HTC one has bloatware? No! There is barely anything besides HTC sense

That would be very reassuring if true.

I've got a HTC One on Telstra (Australia). Very little bloatware. Yes, there are the things from Google;

  • Google+
  • Notes
  • Play Magazines
  • Play Movies
  • PocketNews
  • Polaris Office
  • Stocks
  • Talk
  • Watch
  • Navigation
  • Google Settings
  • News and Weather
  • Top 10 tracks
  • PDF viewer
  • TuneIn Radio

and a few other things. However the only thing I can see to identify this as a Telstra phone is the little Telstra Widget to show your mobile data usage and the Telstra splash screen on startup.

Hello fellow Singaporean, didn't notice your country till you mentioned the telcos. That's very reassuring thanks so much.
