Hey guys

so, my friend wants to sell me his gtx 660ti, which I also have and I was thinking of running them in sli, but since my psu only has 2 pci-e cables, I wanted to buy 2 splitters, one for each of the cables, so I can connect both cards. is that actually possible? or are there issues concerning watts and stuff like that?

Cheers!

If you don't have enough cables convert two molex connectors.

although molex connectors can pop out if place. So just get a new PSU.

Yes you can use splitters, but only use splitters if you know you have a powerful enough PSU to handle the two cards in the first place.

550W PSU isn't going to be enough for two 660Ti.

Id recommend atleast a 600watt(Preferably 650 or higher) PSU, 550 doesnt really cut it when going SLI.
