Hi Guys,
Got my new monitor today and things were looking good. Left to go do some stuff and come back to it with half the screen dark like your looking at a TN panel at any non direct angle.
Turning the screen on and off and restarting the computer helped a little, now its just weakly different but enough to seriously piss me off.

Been looking around for the past couple of hours for posts on how to get rid of this and have found nothing.
If anything knows how to fix this that would be very appreciated.

Also, pretty sure when i reset the computer, it did not do this until it got to windows? So im thinking its a windows bug/"feature" that is really hard to find.

Have x2 970's Asus strix so could be an Nvidia thing that I cant find.

Using Display port for the cable.

Pictures below are of the retailers forum where i also posted this.

This is a screen shot. (had to shrink it a bit)

This is a picture i took with my phone.

Hopefully as you can see its a weak but different contrast.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thank you,
Nick

I would RMA it, I dont have information if this monitor has 2 panels stitched together.

my guess though is it has something has to do with the panels being unbalanced

I would have thought It'd be one single panel, but going off that picture it's certainly seems like it is two panels stitch to together, so to speak. Kinda disappointing for the OP. I would RMA it also because it's quite clearly defective. I did think that this monitor had the same panel as the LG one, but who knows.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.
