Is this bad?

So a while back i took the cooler off my gtx 645, and later put it back on without replacing thermal paste because i never intenended to use the card again.

Now that i had to rma my 280x, i put it back in my rig to be able to play some games.

The card tops out at 80c and does not throttle speeds at 100% load.

Is this really bad ir jus one of those things i should not do but its kinda fine

Not re-applying thermal paste isn't the end of the world. It will most likely be fine until your 280X comes back.

yeah im just doing benchmarks on it so i should be fine #kappa

 

i do have a extra fan spot cooling the card so that helps

I DONT HAVE ANY PASTE, and its not the bad, even if it does over heat it will throttle and i will notice before it dies

nah, for csgo even the gtx 645 is better and it really does not get taxed to hard in cs or minecraft (which are the only games i play on this card because i refuse to play games at a un-enjoyable experience)

meh, it could probably get by being passively cooled so I reckon its not a very hot card
