My current keyboard (Ducky Shine 3 TKL) seems to have an led failure. the Number 7 on my keyboard registers, but the led does not seem to light up. I have tried changing led modes, taking out the usb cord and switching it to 6 other ports, but none seem to work (can't be a power issue). It does not really bother me but its that type of thing that I would prefer to be fixed. The keyboard is about 5 months old and I don't really want to go through the nuisance of mailing it for such an insignificant issue. Thanks in advance :)

@TheProfosist and @Charger both make their own stuff so maybe they can help you here?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Sounds like the led died. To replace it you would need to find the correct size led that is the correct color and voltage then desolder the old one and solder in a the new led

I have tried to avoid back lights to the point that my parts keyboard came backlit and I removed all the leds and did not make my keyboard backlit. I'm not a fan of making a night light out of a keyboard when I don't even look at it to type, so it is just for show. At that point back lights do nothing but annoy me.

@TheProfosist however does replace a lot of his leds so he may be of more help them me

@Sabron your basically just going to want to swap out the LED and see if its a bad one.

that what it sounds like to me. The correct size is a T1 (3mm) through hole LED.

I only have 2 full LED boards, wait 3 if you count the KPad. The other KMAC's just have the F-row and WASD, which many times I just leave off.
