Can't flash lollipop update

Go to solution Solved by Scia,

Not running a rom. I'm just rooted is all. Still htc sense

You cant OTA update rooted devices. This might be your problem. You'll have to unroot and flash back the stock recovery if you want to use your usual OTA. Otherwise, just flash a rom, usually better anyhow.

Unable to flash the new lollipop update on my HTC one m8. I'm rooted with twrp and when I am prompted to update it takes me into recovery but when I try to install the zip file I get

mount: failed to mount /dev/block....

E: error executing updater binary in zip

Etc.

Then fails instanly

HTC one m8

Rooted with s-on

Maybe update your TWRP?

Or maybe try another Google Edition ROM? There's probably more than one on XDA, sometimes ROM are somewhat buggy ^^'
