Hello everyone.

I'm going to build an gaming machine inside the "Corsair 380T" case (I love that case :P)

Anyway I have made a build on pcpartpicker and I want to know what you think of the build, do I need to change anything or something like that.

I'm also pretty unsure about the power supply, is it good enough or what :P

Anyway here is the build

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.95 @ SuperBiiz)

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($88.98 @ OutletPC)

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII IMPACT Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard ($218.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($159.99 @ Amazon)

Anyway if you change something then it would be nice if it's about the same price.

Corsair lists the H100i as compatible. What was the issue you ran into?

@007Mix,

The CX-500M is an ok psu. SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze or Antec HCG-520M would be better IMO.

Mushkin Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory and PNY XLR8 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory are both good quality lower cost memory kits with slightly better timings than the Kingston kit.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Hey 007Mix,

The build looks good. I would call Corsair's support and ask specifically about the H100i.
Also, I don't think you need 16GB of memory for a gaming build. 2x4GB would be enough.
The PSU is enough, but I would go with something more powerful since you have some pretty strong parts there and you are going to overclock the CPU. I would switch to something like a 600W gold-certified PSU just to be on the safe side and have more space for overclocking and future upgrades. :)

Captain_WD.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^

Like @Captain_WD said consider a more wattage and better rated PSU as you have more headroom that way you have to remember that a PSU doesn't run always on that 500W.
